Hello,
I don't know wether if there is a known problem under VMS v5.3 and
DECwindows, but a customer of us has the problem if he makes
Quit under the Session Manager the Digital Logo don't appear.
If I look with show system which process is running the decw$server_0
process isn't dead. He can restart DECwindows with sys$startup restart.

PS Someone said to our customer that this problem will be repaired in
VMS V5.4.
