I have VMS 5.4 running on a Vaxstation 3100 model 38. I am wondering
if anybody has seen this problem on their system. I was opening
another DECterm window and all of a sudden every decterm I had opened
blacked out. I was able to open more decterms after this happened.

Did the screen backtround also go to black? It sound like your color map might have changed. This could happen if you were on a 4 plane color system and you displayed ReGIS or sixel graphics in the DECterm window, perhaps in LOGIN.COM. Also, did the DECterm windows become all blsck or did they disappear? If they disappeared this would probably mean that the DECterm controller crashed. -- Bob | |||||
