3521.0. "DwtLatin1String occasionally aborts with ACCVIO" by SCOTMN::WOOD (El Vaquero) Wed Oct 24 1990 13:07
Hi,
I have a customer who on upgrading VMS from 5.1 to 5.3 found that the
application they have written, now occasionally access violates within
a call to DwtLatin1String. It doesn't have to be the same call and he is
typically calling it with a quoted string of 15 to 20 characters.
The only thing that slightly wories me is that he is calling DwtLatin1String
from callback procedures and nested within 5 levels of function calls.
The application seems to spend a long time within callback routines, which
is not a good idea.
Has anybody seen or experienced similar problems ?
Cheers for any info
Rich
