I'm experiencing an "interesting" occurance using QuickCopy and/or Cut-and-Paste. The actual scenario is that I'm making a LAT connection (using LATmaster - SET_HOST_LAT) into a captive account that is running an application called CHAMP/CSC. The system management team on the CHAMP/CSC system has made sure that HOSTSYNCH is enabled and that the ALTYPAHD buffers are 2048. When I attempt to PASTE a large amount of information into the application (which is running some version of the TPU editor), the formatting of the information being inserted sometimes gets messed up. What follows is an example of about 158 lines pasted in to CHAMP/CSC. This was generated by merely doing successive SHOW SYS commands on my workstation, selecting all of the desired information, using Copy from the DECterm to place in the Clipboard, and then using Paste from the receiving DECterm to place the information into CHAMP/CSC. You'll see that about 120 lines into it, the formatting completely breaks up and then resumes correctly later on. This is reproduceable...but it does NOT always occur at the same point. My questions are: - What causes this? - Are there any account quotas that need to be adjusted? - Any ideas as to how to fix it? Yes, this would be wonderful to fix, as right now it's all too easy to get corrupted data on DECterm during copy-and-paste. For example, if you cut just 10 or so lines from somewhere and try to paste them in an EMACS buffer, the corruption happens. Thanks. /Eric | |||||
