One of our engineers is doing an installation from scratch on a
VAXstation 3100 SPX.
He installed VMS V5.3 + DECwindows and afterwards V5.3-1...
The problem is that DECwindows does not come up.
If we look at the DECW$SERVER_0_ERROR.LOG it says:

The weird thing about this is the following:
If I boot minimal (STARTUP_P1 "MIN"), start DECnet and then start
DECwindows, everything is normal...DECwindows starts up normally...
If I boot minimal (STARTUP_P1 "MIN), autoconfigure all devices
(MC SYSGEN AUTO ALL), start DECnet and start DECwindows, we have the
same problem...DECwindows does not start...
I read note 2543, but this is not our problem. (TTA0 is not allocated)
Anyone seen this before???
