I'm working with a customer describing problems on a 3100 running
v5.3-1 when attempting to execute
@DECW$STARTUP RESTART
he describes the operation is unsuccessful, and the file
DECW$SERVER_0_ERROR.LOG contains an error indicating TTA0: is allocated
to another user
looking at TTA0: the owner process is the PID of the "old server" !!?
he describes that behavior is consistent and reproducible...
the described behavior is not seen here, and the operation is successful...
any ideas/thoughts on what could cause the described behavior?
