    With DecWindows, is there a limit on the number of items you can
    specify in say Applications or Security menu of the Session Manager..
    
    If so what is it then ?

At some point (I don't know if or when this was fixed), there was a limit

Just to make it interesting, there is no check in the session manager
when this limit is reached.  Things just stop working right.
