    Cross posted in the QUEEN::DECWRITE notes conference as well.
    
    Customer called stating they have the new DECstation 5000 RISC system
    running DECwrite 1.0.
    
    
    When editing a DECwrite document on the DECstation 5000 he finds that
    no tabs are ever displayed in the ruler.
    
    The customer is aware of SETTING Preferences to Display Tabs. Clicking on
    the ruler does not display the tabs nor are they displayed when he
    creates them.
    
    If he runs DECwrite sitting at something other than the DECstation 5000, the
    tabs display fine. If he is sitting at something other than the DECstation
    5000 but running the DECwrite EXE off the 5000 the tabs display fine.
    
    This lack of tabs display only occurs when the hardware doing the display is
    the DECstation 5000.
                  
    I have consulted with DECwrite Ultrix/RISC focals; and researched through 
    this and the DECwrite conference. There is no reference to this.
    
    Any comments?
    
    Right now it appears to be a DECSTATION 5000 RISC / DECWINDOWS feature.
