Hi all,

	Has anyone ever had a problem when starting fileview from the session
manager such that it give the message "starting fileview" then almost 
immediately gives fileview stopped normal successful completion.

	Running fileview interactively works ok. (pql_ parameters maybee
but which ones ?)

	(VMS 5.2 decwindows v1.0)

	Have you checked DECW$SM.LOG or Accounting to see what further info there might be. You could try defining DECW$VUE_OUTPUT to point to a log file. (I think this has to be defined in DECW$LOGIN.COM in the process name table). Also check out BULOVA::FILEVIEW. Ian
