Hi all, Is anyone aware of a place on our network where the MIT distribution tape is stored on-line ? The reason I ask is that there is a game called Mazewar which has a workaround to the problem discussed at length in note 3217 regarding using XNextEvent on an empty input event queue then firing client messages from an AST which are ignored Apparently the sources for this game (winX11.c) have some code that uses XPending and XNextEvent to avoid calling XNextEvent with 0 events on the queue and then uses the number returned from the ConnectionNumber(display) macro to wait for something to arrive on the input event queue which apparantly does detect AST client messages OK. by using $Waitfr with the connection number Andy

I have the MIT sources mounted off the Ultrix system and mazewar is part of that
distribution.
You can find it:
starbd::/usr/users/X11R4/src/contrib/games/mazewar
On VMS:
VIA$ dir starbd::"/usr/users/X11R4/src/contrib/games/mazewar"
