    I would greatly appreciate it if someone could answer the following
    questions for me or give me pointers for obtaining them:
    
    1. What is the schedule for decwindows v3.0?
    
    2. In the meantime, how much would I burn myself by recommending the
       use of osf/motif v1.1 now as opposed to waiting for decwindows v3.0
       (regarding future potential incompatibilities)?
    
    3. Although uil seems to be a part of osf/motif, is there any
       uncertainty about it being a part of the osf standard (I hear that
       the members of osf have yet to vote on including it!)?
    
    I apologize if these questions have been answered elsewhere - a title
    and keyword search did not prove to be very fruitful.

My understanding is that we will be shipping osf/motif until we release the decwindows toolkit. Will an application designed using the osf/motif toolkit have any problems running under the decwindows toolkit? Also, since the decwindows toolkit will presumably (?) have DEC extensions, will there be any documentation on how to write portable code?? Thanks.

	Many thanks for your prompt responses. I shall pursue this further in the Motif notes conference if I have further questions along these lines.
