The following logicals are defined in our system, (LNM$SYSTEM_TABLE) "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_ANSI" = "ANSI_FAST40" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_LINE" = "SYS$PRINT" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_PS" = "PS_FAST40" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_TEXT" = "SYS$LN03" This take away the option of choosing a printer in any DECW application that uses the (I guess) "print widget" Is there a way to get the option back without removing the above logicals form the SYSTEM_TABLE ? [ This orginally put in SYSTEM_TABLE as a default value for printers (so the users that don't care about choosing a queue, print to the default que) ]

What makes you think so? Perhaps what you want is to define a list of queues for each type. For example, here's what I have: "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_ANSI" = "LN03_NB4,ANSI_PROTON,ANSI_PS2,CLU_LN03" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_ANSI2" = "LN03_NB4,ANSI_PROTON,ANSI_PS2,CLU_LN03" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_LINE" = "CLU_PRINT" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_PS" = "PS_PROTON,PS_PS2" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_REGIS" = "SYS$NULL" "DECW$PRINTER_FORMAT_TEXT" = "LN03_NB4,ANSI_PROTON,ANSI_PS2,CLU_PRINT" Steve |
