Hi,

	I have a customer running VMS V5.3-1, they just got it, they were
	previoulsy running VWS, but since VWS doesn't support SPX board
	they have to run DECwindows, however it worked ok, once, then we
	discovered that VMS$COMMON.DIR and SYSCOMMON.DIR are two completly
	different and UN-LINKED directories, so we re-joined them with a
	set file/enter, ever since then, had a logo box withthin about
	4 pixels wide stripes, so my customer re-install from scratch VMS
	V5.3 and 5.3-1, and now he has a fuzzy smudge for a pointer and
	a logo box that is just white??? everything else looks ok...
	I saw a few other notes relating to something like this, the only
	answer back was wait until V5.4, the unfortunate part is in Australia
	it takes a while (for some bizzare reason) for things to arrive here
	at SSB, and so a customer probably won't see it for at least a month
	after  the rest of the world, so if this is the same problem as is
	fixed in 5.4, is it possible to get a patch  this month across the
	net instead.....
