    I have another DECterm crash problem that I can recreate.  If I
    type out a SIXEL file and change the terminal size
    $set term/pag=40/wid=100   to $set term /pag=24/wid=80
    the terminal emulator will crash and all windows will vanish.
    
    I will enter a QAR unless someone has already.. This is version
    T5.4-4G1.
    
    The sixel file is DIODE::dkb0:[public]vax9000.six, you may have 
    to change the terminal size a few times between typeing the file 
    but it crashes regularly.  My system is VS3100 SPX/16Mb.
