3192.0. "No title bar, please!" by HKOVC::TERENCE (From Middlesex, UWO) Thu Aug 09 1990 22:17

Is it possible to get rid of the title bar of some of the DECW
applications such as DECW$CLOCK? Can I specify that somewhere
     like DECW$CLOCK.DAT.

Sure. In DECW$CLOCK.DAT just add the line

Clock.overrideRedirect: True

and no more frame window (title bar, buttons, etc).

However, this will give you clock that stays in front of everything else
and can't be moved. On the Motif window manager, you can leave the borders
but turn off the banner. This lets you get at window manager functions
without the lost realestate.
