I need to find out what would signal a "picture too large" error from DECW$PAINT when trying to include a ".DDIF" image file. The file in question was originally a ".TIFF" file but was "$CONVERT/DOCUMENT"'d to ".DDIF" format. The customer is running V5.3-1 (V2.0) of DECWindows on VS-3100 with a 19'' color monitor. He didn't mention the files origin other than that it was from "one of my PCs". What is considered "too large" for a bitmap image? Thanks, Dennis

(FILEIO.LIS, Read_DDIF routine) Could one of the paint people confirm this? Rick Beldin Atlanta CSC |
