3137.1 | Probably that #&**# GPX pixmap limitation | AIRBAG::SWATKO | Electrons are cheap. Trees are not. | Thu Jul 26 1990 14:10 | 7 |
| I'll bet the problem is the GPX pixmap size limitation problem. The GPX
server has an implementation limit on the maximum size of pixmaps so that
you cannot create pixmaps larger than the screen. This was not a problem
with the monochrome server. That would explain why the errors began after
the installation of the GPX boards.

You mentioned that you haven't changed any SYSGEN parameters. Given that you
just made two major changes to your hardware configuration (installation of
4 MB memory, and installation of GPX hardware), I suggest re-running AUTOGEN
from scratch. There are several SYSGEN parameters that are set very differently
on GPX systems vs. non-GPX.

| I did run AUTOGEN, but could you tell me what you mean by `from
scratch'?
Thanks.

| I mean run it through all the phases, with no feedback, so that AUTOGEN doesn't
rely on previously collected info about the hardware configuration.
