3133.0. "DECW$MAIL - bad param value" by RDVAX::RICHARDSON () Wed Jul 25 1990 13:02
DECW$MAIL sever error - attempting to complete pending actions
%SYSTEM-F-BADPARAM, bad parameter value
Anyone ever see this before? We're running VMS5.3-2 on an 8550
and she is a VSII satellite on it. She also gets this error
intermittently on her VT220 in the office (bad param value).
Funny thing, she never got the error when she had a VS2000 as
a satellite, only now that she has swapped over to the VSII.
The user who use to have the VSII also saw this error intermittently
but now that she has the VS2000 she does not see the error.
Something tells me it's hardware, BUT why would she get the error
when logged in from her VT220 onto the BOOTNODE? She's not signing
into her satellite when using the VT220. This should probably go
in the VMS notesfile but since the error occured in DECWindows Mail
we thought we'd give it a shot here.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Kelly
