the VMS DECwindows product manager. Send mail to JARETH::HORN.
Out of curiosity, what do you need from X11 R4? I've asked this question
many times in this conference, but no one has volunteered an answer yet.

| Please find out what features the 3rd party software requires. Janis will
likely ask you the same questions: does the 3rd party software require
1. new server features, or
2. new Xlib/Intrinsics/toolkit features?
and if so, exactly which ones?
We may likely satisfy the 3rd party software requirements without
directly going to X11 R4. Also, you still didn't tell us if your
client was using VMS or ULTRIX! However, thanks for replying.

| You can just XtCreateWidget and XtDestoryWidget to get the same effect
as XtInitializeWidgetClass.

| Yes, it is an R4 Intrinsics feature. The soonest DEC will be shipping
that is when we update the Motif layered product to Motif V1.1. It
will include R4 Intrinsics. See SUBWAY::MOTIF for discussions of
the Motif layered product.
