| Enable security messages from a priv'ed account, then create a decterm
from the non-priv'ed account to see what's causing the problem.

3076.3 | Multiple UICs? | HANNAH::MESSENGER | Bob Messenger | Tue Jul 17 1990 00:30 | 8 |
| Do you have another DECterm on the same system logged into a different account
and pointing to the same display? There is one DECterm controller per remote
display, and it runs under the UIC of the process that created the first
DECterm window on that controller. If you create a DECterm window on the
same controller with a different, non-privileged UIC, you'll get the symptom
you described. This problem will be fixed in DECwindow V3.

| Yes, that's exactly the scenario. I have two windows, one logged into
the SYSTEM account, and another logged into my own. I guess I'll have
to wait till V3. Thanks for the hepl.
