VMS 5.3 AND DECW 2.0, DecWindows WON'T COME UP!!
I've read and searched this notesfile for an answer, and checked
a multitude of things, but to no avail. Lic in place ok,
Network running ok, Sysgen params OK, show dev show WSA0: present
but not in use. Restart won't, seems to see the system as NOT a
workstation. This was a flying upgrade from released tape set,
Not a copy or netcopy. Local computer-room resourses couldn't find
anything. I will put specific logfile etc in first reply.
