           Hi,
    
            I need to simulate the DECwindows login screen.
    
            Username:  [STEXT]
            Password:  [STEXT]
    
            User entering RETURN at Username prompt takes it to Password
            STEXT.  The password STEXT is noecho.
    
            I am sure some one must have code that does this.  Can you
            please post it here.
    
            I have seen a lot of discussion of no-echo STEXT and lot of
            solutions.  I am still looking for one that works perfectly.

    Sounds like a dangerous thing to have around.  Isn't this
    called a 'spoofing' program?  Makes stealing passwords 
    real easy...

    I am not talking about a "spoofing" program.  I need the code for
    my application which has a login screen similar to the DECwindows
    login screen.  Users of my system are not loging in to VMS/ULTRIX
    but to my application.
