I can't find DwtStringInitContext in the ULTRIX decwindows .a files.
Does it not exist there, forcing me to use DwtInitGetSegment? The
bookreader documentation highly recommends using DwtStringInitContext
instead of DwtInitGetSegment.

I would have answered sooner, but have been out of notes for a few
days.....
The DwtStringInitContext routine is located in the UWS sources in the
DECwMisc.c file, so I would guess that it is located in the
DECwMisc.o file in libdwt.a (for version 2.2 and 4.0 of UWS).
It does work as documented in the UWS 2.2 man pages, and I have
used it.

An ar -x of DECwMisc.o from libdwt.a, then an nm -a DECwMisc.o | grep
Proc did not find the routine DwtStringInitContext.
% ls -l /usr/lib/libdwt.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 root 2948246 May 1 1989 /usr/lib/libdwt.a
