2967.0. "No cut/paste in NotesFile" by THEBUS::THACKERAY () Wed Jun 20 1990 16:03

    What kind of bright idea was it to mess around with a Notes window
    while on SETHOST in a terminal window, so that you can't select text
    with the mouse and copy/paste???

    Now there is the silly option to scroll through a note with a mouse
    click instead of the usual CR, to compensate.

You'll have to ask the VAX NOTES developers, who have a conference at
CLT::VAXNOTES_BUGS. I'd phrase the question in a bit more civil fashion, as
well.

Re: .0

The problem is that either Notes or TPU enables ANSI locator reports, which
means that mouse clicks go to Notes or TPU instead of activating DECterm's
local selection mechanism. If you want to use local selection (copy and
paste) give the command TPU SET (MOUSE,OFF).

2967.3Its drastic, but quickSCAM::DIALMon Jun 25 1990 11:384
    Using the "Reset Terminal" option in DECterm works too, but turns off
    the keypad as well. A cntrl-W restores everything.
