Hi,
I'm running VMS V5.3 on VAXstation 3100, HTSC04. When I set host to
a microvax II, HGOSTS, and issue the following command:
$ set display /create /node = HTSC04
$ sn :== spaw/nowait/input=nl:/notify
$ sn mc decw$terminal
I'll got following error messages:
Xlib: connection to "HTSC04::0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Client is not authorized to access server
Can't open display
PTY exiting.
%NONAME-E-NOMSG, Message number 02DBC002
%NONAME-E-NOMSG, Message number 02DBC002
or
XIO: unable to open connection _WSA40:
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
%NONAME-F-NOMSG, Message number 02DB821C
-SYSTEM-F-LINKABORT, network partner aborted logical link
In my VAXstation,HTSC04, I have add following security entries :
DECNET HGOSTS:: TERENCEYING
LOCAL 0 TERENCEYING
where TERENCEYING are usernames in both HGOSTS and HTSC04.
Is there any procedures that I've missed ? Any hints and suggestions are
much appreciated !
Terence.

Of course this is a security problem on the display server.
Use the security menu under the customize function to add
the name of the client. Later on it this note, you state it
is HGOSTS::, drop the colons.
02dbc002 is a catch all error. It can mean many things...

Do you have HGOSTS defined in your HTSC04's NCP?
