Hi all,
What is the difference between 4-plane black and white monitor and
a 4-plane color monitor. Is 4-plane black and white monitor an
intensity machine ? I have a 4-plane color and I wondering if
I could use it to test my software and would it behave the same on
a 4-plane black and white ?
Regard, Grace

If you have a 4-plane color system on VMS, you can use it to simulate a 4-plane GrayScale system by editing (or creating) in SYS$MANAGER: the file DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.COM. Add the line $decw$color = "F" Then restart DECwindows (@SYS$MANAGER:DECW$STARTUP RESTART) Burns | |||||
