Can a VT1000 emulate a VT330? A friend was using a VT340 with a cad application that uses the terminals extended commands. He just baught a VT1000 V1.2 and the terminal will not display the data when typed. The DECterm Customize General only shows a VT220 ID. Can he upgrade ?

Re: .0 DECterm emulates most but not all features of the VT330. Can you find out what features this program using? By the way, the Terminal ID has nothing to do with what features DECterm supports. Re: .1 The local VTE doesn't do graphics, but .0 said DECterm, not VTE. -- Bob | |||||

Re: .2 .0 may have said "DECterm" but I thought it was clear that it was the VT1000's terminal emulator that was being discussed. This actually has nothing to do with DECwindows. There is a conference for the VT1000 at MARVIN::VT1000. Steve | |||||
