This paper describes the results of performance characterization tests
conducted on various compute servers, both ULTRIX and VMS, running as hosts in
a VT1000 environment. Interactive tests were performed using DECwrite as the
sample application, and graphics performance tests of the VT1000 were performed
using X11PERF. The VT1000 was at firmware revision 4.31P.
