How does one turn off the cursor blink in a DECterm (VMS) The cursor blinking is causing significant load on our host system when using VAXeln based window terminals with many DECterms on them. -bill

On VMS, I've just used a non documented resource , by creating a file DECW$LOGIN.DAT with the line : *blinkRate : 0 I don't know how VAXELN defines and uses this resource, Hope this help, Dung | |||||

> I don't know how VAXELN defines and uses this resource, Since he's running DECterm on VMS and only using VAXELN as the display, VAXELN has nothing to do with resource names in DECW$LOGIN.DAT. DECterm really doesn't care who the server is. Resources will be the same. |
