2821.0. "Can't open DECW$MAIL from Fileview window!" by BEBE::GALLEGOS () Fri May 25 1990 16:23
First off, I tried posting this notes in DW_MAIL and they have it
protected from writing into this notes files.
I'm having trouble opening mail from the Fileview and
hopefully someone can help me. Whenever I go into the
Fileview and try opening mail I get the small window (Work in
Progess) and it tells me it is done. However, I never get the
mail window. I have done different things to get it working
but have been unsuccessful. First off, I'm tied into a
cluster.
Whenever I have logged into my systems account on the cluster
node name I have had no problems with mail, it works fine
then. I have increased my FILLM and ASTlm quota. Still
unsuccessful.
What I also tried was to set all my process privileges
enabled, still unsuccessful.
Next thing I tried was by typing the following;
$ run sys$system:decw$mail
After this I get an error i.e.,
%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image DECW$MAILSHR
-CLI-E-IMGNAME, image file NODE$DKA0:[SYS10.SYSCOMMON.][SYSLIB]DECW$MAILSHR.EXE;1
-SYSTEM-F-SECTBLFUL, section table (process/global) is full
These files have all the protection set in order to access.
I don't know what is going on and any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Any ideas or clues,
Robert

2821.1 | Raise PROCSECTCNT | BOMBE::MOORE | Eat or be eaten | Fri May 25 1990 19:37 | 5 |
| SYSTEM-F-SECTBLFUL, section table (process/global) is full
Sounds like your process section table is full, so make it bigger.
Increase the value of your PROCSECTCNT parameter in SYSGEN, preferably
via MODPARAMS.DAT and running AUTOGEN.

2821.2 | Check GBLSECTIONS, too. | BOMBE::MOORE | Eat or be eaten | Fri May 25 1990 19:53 | 3 |
| It's also possible that raising GBLSECTIONS would cure your problem as
well, if the image failed to install during system startup due to
insufficient global sections.
