I reproduce this problem using local transport, on a vms v5.3 system, on a
vms t5.4 system and an ultrix uws v2.1 system.
The server matches with the version of vms or ultrix.
It's not a risc system.
Jean-Marc.

| We've made some changes to arc code for the next major version of DECwindows.
I don't know if this will be affected or not. I'll send a copy to the developer.

2818.4 | arcs are fixed | DECWIN::NORCROSS | | Fri May 25 1990 14:43 | 7 |
| We have implemented the new MIT X11r4 arc code/algorithms in the VMS
server and this should fix the problem your customer is seeing
with arcs.
See note 2502 for some more details on performance.

| For what it's worth, there is an open QAR in the VMS database for this
problem (2798). There is also an SPR on VAXELN DECwindows.
