I am currently working an issue with a customer who is having problems with "Print Entire Screen"/"Capture Entire Screen" under V5.3-1 using a VAXStation-3100 with a 19' monochrome monitor. Customer claims that under V1.0 of DECWindows she was able to "Capture Entire Screen" to a SIXEL file with "1-to-1" and in "Landscape" page orientation and then print that file to the pVAX's attached LN03 and have the output print to a single sheet. Now that she is at V2.0 and can successfull "print/capture" without aborting the Session Mgr. but she finds that the file prints to two pages. I have sent her and she has applied the patch for improving the SIXEL print quality but have not been able to find out why it keeps spanning a page. Is this a "known issue" or "?". Dennis

| 2790.1 | Printscreen scaling/rotation? | STAR::ORGOVAN | Vince Orgovan | Mon May 21 1990 17:32 | 6 |
I think the V2 printscreen code attempts to scale/rotate the
print image to get what it considers is the best match to the
paper size. The session manager customize/printscreen function
has a button to disable scaling and rotation. This works for
disabling rotation it doesn't affect scaling. I believe that
CSSE has a patch to fix scaling disable.
