Does anybody know where XLib error messages go when the process running is a detached process. i.e. sys$output,sys$error... Thanks, CER

As with most VMS error messages, they should be written to SYS$ERROR. And if SYS$OUTPUT is different form SYS$ERROR, they also get written there. Of course, if your detached process has nothing defined for SYS$OUTPUT and SYS$ERROR, then the messages just go into the bit bucket. James |
