Hi,
we have installed VMS 5.2 on a VS3100 without installing decwindows some
time ago. Now we wanted to tailor on decwindows with DECW$TAILOR. The
procedure told us to reinstal the MUP of VMS 5.2 again, but when we try
to do that, the vmsinstal procedure aborts when trying to patch CLUSTRLOA.EXE,
with the error message : PATCH-E-NODECODE, cannot decode instruction.
(instaling the MUP after installation of vms 5.2 went well !!).
Then we tried to reinstall another MUP saveset on a machine where decwindows
is already installed, and got the same effect !!
Is there an error in CLUSTRLOA.VUP in the VMSMUP052 saveset ???
Perhaps someone has an idea what's wrong here.
