Hi 

I have a LSE V3.0 problem under VMS v5.3 /DECw V2.0.

    If I select a file and edit it from fileview, three things happen
    1. The FILEVIEW EDIT dialog box is displayed. I choose EVE and "hide
       this dialogue".
    2. Next I get the EVE VUE dialog box. I choose "hide this dialog".
    3. The EVE editing session is displayed.
    If I now quit the session and elect edit again, this time holding
       down the shift key, both dialog boxes are displayed again as
       documented.

    This is not a problem. If, however, I select 'other' and LSE from
    the FILEVIEW EDIT dialog box and then "hide this dialog" I then
    get the LSE VUE dialog box. OK so far! Now when I return to edit
    another time, even if I hold the shift key while selecting edit
    from fileview, only the FILEVIEW EDIT dialog box is retrievable.
    The LSE VUE dialog is not displayed. I can't seem to find any way
    of displaying this dialog box again.

The known problem of the missing hyphen doesn't exist anymore but
the same behaviour occurs as well.

The further strange behaviour is that in all cases appears a '$MAIN'
in the status line for the buffer instead of the specified filename.
The file isn't loaded. (no protection/owner problem)

Any help would be appreciated
