2658.0. "Redefining DECW$BOOK clusterwide" by HPSRAD::LINDSEY () Wed Apr 25 1990 13:50
We need to redefine the decwindows logical DECW$BOOK to point to a disk
other than the system disk, cluster-wide.
What is the proper way of doing this? I tried placing it in various
system startup procedures, but the decwindows startup is one of the
last things to complete and would always override my definition.
I tried to put it in sylogin.com, but that causes a insufficent
privilege protection trying to write to DECW$logical_name table.
I suppose we could put it in each users login.com and write to the
process name table, but that seems messy.
Suggestions? Comments?
