I have a customer with the following problem with
DECwindows VMS5.3 on a 3100
The customer can startup DECwindows OK and use it without
any problem,if however he loads a DECsever 200 his
DECwindows stuff crashes. The system still works OK,he can
login via another terminal without a problem.
If he reboots his 3100 everthing works OK,the problem
is only when he does an online load of the DECserver
and it only affects DECwindows.
Any ideas...
Thanks..
GC. (my second note today !)

Do you mean he gets the operator window up at the top of the screen with the OPCOM message saying the server has been loaded? If so then just hit CONTROL F2. mike | |||||

When he asks you why the arrow keys stopped working in the terminal
windows, you can tell him it's because he hit ctrl-F3 by accident, and
another ctrl-F3 will toggle back to normal...
