When I Capture Portion of Screen from the session manager all 'highlighted' areas come up blank when printed. For example, capture a window with input focus to a postscript file. Print it. The title bar is blank. This used to work correctly in the last version of decwindows. Any ideas? Thanks, John

When you say that printscreen outputs blank areas on the page, I assume you are starting with a color image? In DECwindows V2, printscreen changed the algorithms that it uses to convert color images to black-and-white. I don't know the details. Perhaps it is now converting the color of your title bars to white whereas they were black in V1? You might be able to workaround this by slightly changing your highlight color. | |||||

re. <<< Note 2640.1 by STAR::ORGOVAN "Vince Orgovan" >>> It does work when I try it on a black and white monitor. Seems like the improved algorithm needs a little tuning. Thanks, John |
