NEED HELP!
anyone know why this is happining? Have a 8meg VS3100 , just
configured into my cluster. This system for somereason fails
to start the decw$server process. Actually it starts goes into
a pfw state for a sec then disapears. I find this info in
decw$server_0_error.log. System is right out of the box..
VMS Version 5.3 / Decwindows V2.0

Any chance there is a bogus definition of the logical name
decw$keyboard in either sys$manager:systartup_v5.com or in
sys$manager:decw$private_server_setup.com?

That was it! TTA0 was allocated by a print symbiont (old Q).The system was
a MV II and was replaced by a vs3100. DECWINDOWS server process allocates
TTA0 and was not able to earlier. Works great now.
