The "session manager" with PC-DECwindows facilitates starting remote
applications quite (simply) elegantly. If it has not been done yet,
I would like to request product management to add this style of
remote application invocation to the mainstream DECwindows products.
While we have a number of approaches available to us internally
(re: note 1514), they are unsupported and therefore, risky to
customers. The PC method is straightforward and requires minimal
network knowledge (node names). In other words, it works great for
us KISS types!
