A question....and a request.... Is there now any available tool/code/way known to activate the session manager's PAUSE feature via time delay. For example...if a 5:05 PM every day a specific workstation must be paused for security reasons and the individual on the workstation last forgot to pause it, that it be paused automatically. If not, is there someone working on, or planing to work on such a tool? Thanks in advance Ed-

The Session Manager is not callable so there is no way to activate the Pause feature automagically. (except maybe with user generated events...hmmmm). You could write your own Pause feature. And as for the religous issue...if you want to pause for security reasons then I say the session should be LOGGED OFF for security reasons. Pausing the session is not very secure. I found it quite easy to find the Pause window and unmap it...providing you have access to the server. If someone were to unmap the pause window...well...so much for security... :^) -=> Jim <=- |
