2404.0. "Disabling the bell from the Session Manager" by CHE::VISCAROLA (Peter Viscarola) Wed Mar 07 1990 16:30
OK, this must be my day for silly notes, but some of these things are
really irritating.
Using the Customize Keyboard... entry from the session manager I set the
BELL volume to 0, and ENABLEd. Or even set the bell to DISABLEd. I works
for a while. I pause my session (I THINK this is when the problem happens)
and when I log back in... the bell is enabled again, even though the
Customize keyboard entry still says "DISABLE 0 volume".
I'm running a VAXstation 3100 model 48, color monitor, VMS V5.3.
Thanks,
Peter
