2362.0. "UWS2.2 Colormap question" by FORTSC::CHABAN () Tue Feb 27 1990 08:12

    I have a customer who would like to "undo" the default color map
    in UWS 2.2.  Apparently, display postscript requires 128 color map
    entries.  This makes life miserable for my customer.
    
    Anybody know how to change this back to the way it was on UWS 2.1?

    To disable the DPS initialization, add the following line to
    /.Xdefaults (the root .Xdefaults file):
    
    XSessionManager*initializeDPS: false
    
    This will be the default starting with UWS 4.0.
