Re: .1
John, I think the SYSGEN parameters are high enough :
SYSGEN ----->
Parameter Name Current Default Minimum Maximum Unit Dynamic
-------------- ------- ------- ------- ------- ---- -------
GBLSECTIONS 400 250 20 4095 Sections
GBLPAGES 35000 10000 512 -1 Pages
INSTALL ----->
340 Global Sections Used, 31070/3930 Global Pages Used/Unused
I will check with people on other clusters on the site if they have
the same problem.
Thanks,
Pierre.

They look low to me. A nice MIN_GBLPAGES = 50000 and
MIN_GBLSECTIONS = 600 might help.
Of course, you *could* try running them interactively and see what
error occurs; a bit more detail of what goes wrong might help.

2335.4 | SCA was NOT the problem | RUTILE::LAROCHE | Souviens-toi du VAX de Soissons | Mon Feb 26 1990 04:37 | 17 |

I found what happened, and ... it had *nothing* to do with SCA !!!
The problem was in my LOGIN.COM file.
Just after a SCA SET LIBRARY command, I redefined the LNM$FILE_DEV
logical, but without the table DECW$LOGICAL_NAMES.
When SCA was not installed, the LOGIN.COM stopped and the logical
LNM$FILE_DEV was not badly redefined. That's why I thinked that
there was something wrong with SCA.
Rick, you were right to advise me to run the programs interactively.
New user of a workstation, Idid not even know that it was possible
!!!
John and Rick, thank you for your help.
