    DXue gurus,
    	here's a doozy...
    	
    	for the last few days i've experienced deju vu using ue.  any
    action taken using Files, Applications or Popup menus of ue occur
    in doubles; ie.  files are displayed twice, two clock windows are
    opened, two mail windows, two DECwrite windows, etc, etc..  
    	i've been running Ultrix V3.1 and UWS V2.1 for some time and
    have never had this happen.  i may have made some change and not
    realized it but i checked .ue_profile and it seems ok.  this is
    starting to be a real pain.  i have to close one of each of the
    applications i start and my screen is getting filled too quickly
    unnecessarily.  aside from rebuilding, i don't know what to do.
    has anyone ever experience this problem?  any idea what it may be?

In your .ue_profile, you will find two mentions of each of the doubled 
applications.  Get rid of one of them.  This is fixed in 2.2.

    jeff,
    	my .ue_profile has just one mention of each of the doubled apps
    now (it did have two dissimilar "views" defined).  i corrected the
    error and logged out and in and even rebooted but the doubles still
    occur.  could the problem have something to do with the view saved
    using Control menu?  i've noticed that selecting "Startup" from
    the Views menu does nothing (or maybe i misunderstand its purpose).
    do you have another suggestion?  it's not convenient for me to upgrade
    right now.
