2326.0. "SYS$INPUT DEFINED IN LOGIN.COM" by CSOA1::PERK (Why is there air?) Wed Feb 21 1990 14:53
When creating a DECterm window, if a LOGIN.COM file exist it is
executed. In DECwindow 1.x, I wanted to run ALL-IN-1 automatically
from the LOGIN.COM file. I used ...
$ DEFINE/USER SYS$INPUT SYS$COMMAND
$ ALLIN1
IN DECwindows 2.0 the above no longer works. When the above is
executed, NO WINDOW AT ALL APPEARS even though the "Starting DECterm
...." message appears in the session manager window.
Anyone know why? Further testing tells me that the $DEFINE/USER ...
command is the culprit. If so, how do I direct the input focus from a
command file e.g. LOGIN.COM to run e.G. ALL-IN-1?
