2318.0. "BYTLM quota of the session manager is not restored" by TENERE::URSCH () Wed Feb 21 1990 09:03
Hello,
I have noticed the following behaviour of the session manager when you
create and delete some applications. The BYTLM quota of the session manager is
decremented when you create an application with the "APPLICATIONS" menu of the
session manager, but when the application exits, the value of BYTLM is not
restored. Thus after a sequence of create/delete, you will get an error message
box indicating a ressource problem when creating the application.
This is under VMS V5.3-1.
Sorry if this subject has been already discussed.
Here is the log of the small test.
>>> Values of quota's for SESSION MANAGER

CPU limit: Infinite Direct I/O limit: 100
Buffered I/O byte count quota: 22032 Buffered I/O limit: 40

........
Is this behaviour normal, or should I submit an SPR for it ??
Thank's for your comments.
