I have been having trouble getting a the shadow on a push button. My understanding is that the shadow attribute is set by default. It doesn't make any difference whether I set it or not; I don't get the shadow. I looked around to see if there was something overriding the value; apparently not. What am I missing? Using C, UIL on VMS 5.3. Thanks, Mike

If it's a child of a menu widget, the menu turns off the shadow. There's no direct way to prevent this. | |||||
