I would like to add an attached dialog box to a DECterm. Has anyone done this or does anyone have a clue as to how it might be accomplished? It would also be nice if I could include the DECterm in a popup dialog box. The solution should be transportable to a RISC platform (3100). The problem I am trying to solve involves mixing an old character cell interface with some DECwindows goodies. I realize that the very idea of this will cause strong stomachs to heave, but I am stuck with this situation through no fault of my own. I would like to add a sort of control panel (not unlike that used in DECwindows notes) to the DECterm. The buttons in the control panel would communicate with the application that controls the DECterm screen. Any and all ideas are welcome. Paul Norman

It sounds like what you need is the DECterm widget. See the discussion of this in various notes in HANNAH::DECW$DISK:[PUBLIC]DECTERM.NOTE. -- Bob |
