I need information related to the available levels of Decwindows integration. I thought there were something like 1-4 levels going from basic terminal emulation to full function. I believe we used this to define layered product compliance initially. Any information would be appreciated relating current layered product compliance. Thanks for your time

define "DECwindows integration" define "levels of DECwindows integration" define "full function" define "layered product compliance" Perhaps these are all terms of art in CSSE, but to an ordinary DECwindows person such as myself, they are undefined. | |||||

There was a strategy document in SDT (Bill Keating's organization), used in the strategic planning phases for DECwindows support in SDT layered products, that defined the four levels of integration alluded to in .0. I suggest getting in touch with SDT Product Management to see if they can give you documents explaining it further. --PSW |
